Irena – voice of the wind
Born and raised in Germany,
with the soul of Montenegro and the spirit of Bohemia flowing through my veins.
A father from the wild mountains of Montenegro, a mother from the poetic heart of Czechia.
On the wall hung my mother’s guitar quiet, waiting..
At the age of ten, curiosity led me to ask, “Can I play her?”
Music became a way to understand the world
to listen deeply, express freely, and heal.
I sing in Montenegrin, German, English, and Czech –
languages that shaped my identity.
Each song I write carries a part of my journey: memories, longings, losses, discoveries.
As a storytelling singer-songwriter, the goal is not just to perform, but to invite on a journey. A journey through cultures, places, emotions, and inspiration.
Where music transforms from sound into something to be felt.
Wherever the wind takes me
from festivals to living rooms, village squares to seaside cafés.
the aim remains the same:
to connect, to comfort, to awaken. And I truly believe:
we humans need each other
to encourage, to inspire,
and to add a new melody of hope to the world together.
